In 1999, Armando Delgado was commissioned to create the art used for a special series honoring the Giants ten greatest moments at Candlestick. These were reproduced in the San Jose Mercury News. A corresponding story for each moment was written and featured by nationally renown sports writer, Mark Purdy. The series appeared weekly in the San Jose Mercury News in a weekly countdown from the 10th greatest momentto the 1st and most memorable moment. Limited editions where produced from these features which contain both the art and stories on acid free museum stock.

The ten greatest moments include the legendary Giant's great Willie Mays, Joe Morgan, Willie McCovey...leading to the World series Earthquake. The below thumbnails features the art in sucession from # 10 to the number #1 moment.
