In the year 2000, Mr. Delgado was commissioned by THE UNITED STATES
POSTAL SERVICE to created an artpiece honoring the Mr. Nicklaus, named "Golfer of the Century". This work was
applied on special commemorative envelopes honoring Jack Nicklaus at Pebble Beach and offered only FONT>at
the 2000 U.S. Open to which Tiger Woods won. The limited supplied sold quickly.
The only available envelopes are through the artist private collection
and can only be ordered through this site. Each is hand-stamped " June 14, 2000, Pebble
Beach Beach Station" and includes an actual 100th anniversary stamp of the California Gold Strike. The frame arounds
the art and copy "The United States Postal Service SALUTES THE GOLDEN BEAR" is embossed in gold.
Each is signed and numbered by the artist.
